In the United States, the month of February is known as Black History Month. Black History Month represents the yearly celebration of the important people and events in the history of the African diaspora. 

To celebrate Black History Month means to celebrate Black excellence and culture. Performing actions to advance the Black community at large is one of the main ways to celebrate and support the Black community worldwide. In addition, celebrating the achievements and important contributions that Black culture has provided in the world will inspire you and give you greater insight of the world today, and the world to come in the future.

Purchasing goods at black owned businesses helps to support the financial and community efforts of black people. The next time you’re about to purchase goods, consider buying from black owned businesses in-person and/or online.
